2010 ALA Book Awards

Every January the American Library Association announces their top honors for excellence in children's and young adult literature. Here are some of the 2010 award winners. Select awards from the right hand column to view the titles.

Caldecott Medal

The Caldecott Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.
