The Gift of the Crocodile : a Cinderella Story by Judy Sierra(2000)In this Indonesian version of the Cinderella story, a girl named Damura escapes her cruel stepmother and stepsister and marries a handsome prince with the help of Grandmother Crocodile.

Jouanah, a Hmong Cinderella by Jewell Reinhart Coburn(1996)Despite a cruel stepmother's schemes, Jouanah, a young Hmong girl, finds true love and happiness with the aid of her dead mother's spirit and a pair of special sandals.

The Korean Cinderella by Shirley Climo(1993)In this version of Cinderella set in ancient Korea, Pear Blossom, a stepchild, eventually comes to be chosen by the magistrate to be his wife.

Ntsuag Nos : ib tug Cinderella Hmoob by Jewell Reinhart Coburn(1996)Translation of: Jouanah, a Hmong Cinderella. Wishbones : a Folk Tale from China by Barbara Ker Wilson(1993)In this Chinese version of the Cinderella tale, Yeh Hsien uses magic fishbones to dress herself in finery for the Cave Festival, where she loses a slipper in fleeing from her wicked stepmother.

Yeh-Shen : a Cinderella story from China by Ai-Ling Louie(1982)This version of the Cinderella story, in which a young girl overcomes the wickedness of her stepsister and stepmother to become the bride of a prince, is based on ancient Chinese manuscripts written 1000 years before the earliest European version.
