Contest Information

Looking for fame & fortune? Your InfoSoup card can help! Create and submit YouTube videos about InfoSoup or your favorite library throughout the month of January. Here are the rules:

• Participants must be 13 years of age or older.
• Your video should be 1-5 minutes long.
• The theme of your video should be "Why I Love Infosoup or My InfoSoup Library" and should include the following:
• A scene in or outside of an InfoSoup library or
• The InfoSoup web site or the word "InfoSoup"
• Your video may not contain inappropriate content.
• People who are included in your video must have agreed to be filmed.
• You may not violate any library policies during the creation of your video.

Videos will be judged based on how well the above rules are met and how entertaining or informative the video was. Winners will be selected by the InfoSoup PR Committee in early February, and the top two winners will receive:

• 1st place: $150 Best Buy gift card
• 2nd place: $75 Best Buy gift card

Anyone can submit a video (or as many as you like), as long as you have an InfoSoup (or Appleton Public Library or OWLSnet) library card in good standing*. (Library staff and family members may enter, but will not be eligible for prizes.)

* Good standing is defined as follows:

• Your card must have less than $5.00 of fines on it.
• Your card cannot be expired.
• You cannot have any outstanding bills for library materials.
